In the year 2000, shortly after our founder, Fred Goldman, arrived in the U.S.A., we began importing and manufacturing high quality sugar-free and low carbohydrate items. Our emphasis was on superb products with special concentration on a smooth and vibrant taste without the traditional aftertaste of many alternative sweeteners.
Obesity and diabetes are on the increase, as are many other conditions that were either rarely heard of, or unidentified. When close members of the family suffered from debilitating intestinal problems, our concern about the use of artificial sweeteners was heightened. We believe that human bodies are reacting in many ways to the intense sweeteners used today. It became our mission to develop a range of healthier, natural sweeteners and products.
Over the past three years we have invested a great deal of time, resources and finances into this new and exciting direction of sweetening. We are proud of our SAFELY SWEETENED NATURALLY ethos, as it truly encompasses the focus and direction of our company and the way we believe people everywhere will view the many aspects of food and diet. We are proud to be involved in bringing these healthy, natural and safely sweetened items and sweeteners to the public.
Our vast experience in international manufacturing and trade, along with our in depth knowledge of the manufacturing processes, have enabled us to combine the very best of manufacturing techniques and ingredients to formulate the products that have sold so well. We have also been able to develop many new and exciting products that had previously been unavailable in the sugar-free industry. We have recently expanded our range to cover an assortment of fruits and nuts, as well as a variety of unique sugared candy items.
